Where will the conference be held?
The
Moat House Hotel This hotel is located in the centre of Liverpool
on Paradise Street. Details of the facilities offered by the hotel as
well as maps and directions as to the location of the hotel in Liverpool
are available on the hotel's own WWW site. The hotel's newly refurbished
Paradise Street restaurant and bar offers an excellent range of food whilst
the Club Moativation health and fitness club offers good recreational
facilities.
What accomodation is available?
Excellent rates have been negotiated with the Moat House Hotel for conference delegates. Single, Double/Twin accomodation is available. Upgrades to rooms with views overlooking the Albert Dock, one of Liverpool's premier tourist attractions are also available. There is also alternative accomodation available in the Ibis Hotel.
How much will it cost to attend the conference?
The costs consist of a registration fee and accommodation/subsistence costs. The registration fee is 50 UK pounds, or 15 UK pounds per day for delegates who do not attend all four days. The registration fee covers local administration and overheads and copies of the internal proceedings; the fee should be paid during the conference. The conference will take place at the Liverpool Moat House Hotel. There is a special rate of 120 UK pounds per day for delegates, which includes accommodation and all meals. You can also choose to arrange for your own meals, or to stay at alternative hotels (see below).
How do I register for the conference and book accommodation?
You can register by booking accommodation for the conference. The Mersey Partnership have provided an on-line booking facility. The recommended package is to book for the nights of Sunday 8th September through Wednesday 11th September, at a total cost of 480 UK pounds. This price includes accommodation and all meals. You can also choose to stay more or fewer days, to arrange for your own meals, or to stay at an alternative hotel. You should use the form to book the accommmodation package that suits you, but remember also to book the Conference Participation for each day you want to attend: this includes use of the Hotel's facilities and lunch.
